Anita Mathew
Anita Mathew was a teacher of English at various schools all over India especially trained to teach English as a second language and the Theory of Linguistics. She helped to devise the new English syllabus for 10 & 12th grade in collaboration with the British Council for CBSE School syllabus. She has worked religiously to formulate the NCERT Educational Policy 1986.

She has taught a degree course in English at the Naval Academy (INS Mandovi) Goa for 4th year cadets in 1990 and spoken English for business executives at training centres and devised the curriculum in Kochi, Kerala. She did the same for executives in Goa being trained at the Shipping Institute Vasco-da-gama, Goa.1992-95 Joseph Conrad scholar- Life member of Joseph Conrad Society UK & USA.

Anita started to work in the NGO sector from 1997 when settled in Goa permanently after husband’s retirement from the Indian Navy. In November 2004 she took up as education researcher for CRG. Did a critique on State of Goa educational policy, which was well received by government and other stakeholders. She worked as the coordinator for a UNIFEM project from January 2006-September 2006 on ‘mental health interventions for survivors of Human trafficking.’ Currently, she is a consultant for Sangath on developing a Monitoring and evaluation system for children considered as slow learners, disabilities and difficulties to mainstream them into regular classes to fulfil the obligation of providing education for all children in a child friendly and inclusive manner. She did a report to introduce SSA into Goa which did not take part in the EFA till 2005. She wrote a report on Child rights for the Tribunal. Participated in conducting the district and state level meetings with government to finalise the government report in order to frame the Goa Children’s Act 2003, the first in the country based on the principles of the UNCRC.Anita has coordinated the Action Research Study for CRG as Nodal agency in Goa for National Human Rights Commission, (NHRC) New Delhi and UNIFEM on Human Trafficking.

Raktim Mukhopadhyay
Raktim Mukhopadhyay is a senior consultant for organizations in the governmental and non-governmental developmental sector. He has almost three decades of experience working for the Government of India and other organizations in the field of social research, rural empowerment, and capacity building. He is an expert on social research methods including urban and rural survey, data processing, tabulation, and data analysis, editing and preparing research reports, etc. In his professional career, he has conducted several research studies on behalf of the Government of India, UNICEF, UNESCO, etc. He is an honorary director with iCONGO, New Delhi; Director, Bangiya Unnayan Parishad, Calcutta and is also associated with the Association for Democratic Rights (ADR), New Delhi and Centre for Budget and Governance Accountability (CBGA), New Delhi. He is also a resource guide for Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, New Delhi.
